Yes that is a MGB. Sold in 1995. Probably one of the oldest sold cars in a 1st world country.

Funny thing with the MGB though is they called it a RV8 and it had a V8 engine at that time. However everything about the car was about the same, including having rear drums lol.

Whatever you saw, they weren't MG3s or MG6s. They're both new models although the 6 is distantly related to the old Rover 75.

Their only saving grace is that they're cheap to buy and reasonably ok to drive. At least that's what I've heard.
